Support a Hispanic woman owned small business
It all began with a dream. I was a young immigrant from Honduras and I had a dream to own a big manufacturing business. My grandmother showed me this dream and it became my goal to make it a reality. I took a couple classes in Honduras and somehow my dream flourished in America.
Sewing art since 2010
My husband is a welder and he couldn’t find any caps that he actually enjoyed wearing. All the caps they sold in stores were too loose, too tight, and they shrunk after a couple washes. He encouraged me to pursue my dream of owning a manufacturing company, he reminded me of that young immigrant who had goals, ambitions & that no matter what God was by our side. Don’t get me wrong I love to sow, but making welding caps from scratch is an incredibly hard thing to do. Often times I felt completely discouraged and insecure because my caps wouldn’t come our right. I kept trying until finally I cut my fabric properly and learned the beauty of making custom sized, custom styled, and custom designed welding caps. From welding caps to alterations to custom made curtains my small business began to flourish. I’m forever grateful to my family and loved ones for standing beside me encouraging me to live out my dreams.
